The 877LM Wireless Keyless Entry is compatible with LiftMaster Security +2.0 garage door openers that have a yellow learn button or two yellow antennas. It works with Chamberlain, LiftMaster, and Sears Craftsman garage door openers made after 2011 that feature the yellow learn button, such as the 891LM, 893LM, 950ESTD, and 953ESTD models.
The 877LM keypad is not compatible with other brand garage door openers or those with learn buttons of different colors. Therefore, it's important to check your garage door opener and, if you're unsure, contact the customer service for assistance.
To program the 877LM Keyless Entry, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the * and # buttons on the keypad until you hear a beep or the lights stop blinking.
- Enter a 4-digit PIN number and press the # button.
- Press and release the Enter button twice.
- Press the 0 button to complete the programming.
- Press and release the orange or red learn button on your garage door opener. The learn LED light will turn on.
- Within 30 seconds, enter the 4-digit PIN number and press and release the Enter button until you hear two clicks or the light on your garage door opener flashes.
- To test, press the learn button on the garage door opener, enter the new PIN, and press the Enter button. The garage door opener should activate.
To change an existing PIN, follow these four steps:
- Press and hold the * and # buttons until you hear a beep or the lights stop blinking.
- Enter the new 4-digit PIN and press the # button.
- Press and release the Enter button twice.
- Press the 0 button to complete the programming.
