This remote is an after-market replacement remote, not a universal one. It only works for Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Sears Craftsman, Raynor, or AccessMaster garage door openers manufactured between 2005 and 2014, featuring a 315 MHz frequency purple learn button, or those manufactured between 1997 and 2005, featuring a 390 MHz frequency red or orange learn button. Alternatively, it will work if your remote control's model number is on our compatible list.

To sync this remote to your garage door opener, first check if it has a purple, red, or orange learn button, and if it operates at 315 MHz or 390 MHz frequency. If so, follow these steps:

1. Press the purple, red, or orange learn button on the garage door opener. The LED will glow steadily for 30 seconds.
2. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the handheld remote (button A or C if your opener has a purple learn button, or button B or D if it has a red or orange learn button), then release it until you hear 2 clicks or the light on the opener flashes.
3. Test the remote by pressing the button.

If your garage door cannot be synced, try these troubleshooting steps: 1. Try pressing a different remote button to program. 2. Close the garage door before programming. 3. Erase the garage door's memory based on the manual.
