However, it's important to note that this is not a universal remote control - it's specifically designed to work with 300MHz Multi-Code garage door or gate opener systems in the US.
The remote is compatible with all US Multi-Code 300MHz frequency garage door or gate opener systems, and it can replace the following Multi-Code remote models: 3089, 3060, 3070, and 4120. It also has the same functionality as the Linear Multi-Code remote product number MCS308911.
Equipped with 10 binary DIP switches, this remote allows you to easily match the settings of your existing opener. If your opener's DIP switches have only two positions, "+" or "-" ("on" or "off"), simply dial the switches on the remote control to the same positions as your original remote or opener main board, from switch "1" to "10". If this doesn't work, try setting the switches to the opposite positions.
For openers with DIP switches that have three positions, "+", "0" or "-" ("on", "0" or "off"), first change the settings on your opener main board to only use the "+" or "-" ("on" or "off") positions, and then dial the remote's DIP switches to match the new settings.
